Catskill Relief Kitchen (CRK)
WHO WE ARE
Catskill Relief Kitchen (CRK) is a volunteer-led organization founded by local residents to tackle food insecurity in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We prepare freshly-cooked soups for weekly distribution.
CRK is an evolving grass-roots initiative that collaborates with other local
organizations and businesses to address the varying needs of our community.
Since May 2020 we have supplied over 1,000 meals to residents of Catskill and
the surrounding area. Hudson Food Studio in Hudson, NY is our generous
sponsor, providing us with a fully-equipped kitchen space. The Youth Clubhouse
of Catskill, under MHACG, provides us with a place to store our produce and
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO HELP OTHERS
Our community can use all the help you can spare. Due to Covid-19, we are still
exploring how to best bring more volunteers and production into our organization.
We need funding, donations of food, equipment, partners, delivery drivers,
administrative assistance, and even ideas from you.

Please let us know if you know of someone who is in need. All we require is a

"It is our belief that food is a human right. Food is love, and we intend to sustainably provide as much food made with love to as many who need, no questions asked. As our resources increase, our mission will continue to use them to feed as many members of the human family in our community as possible.
An absence of nutrition is a barrier to a person's right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Liberty can not be achieved by those who's basic needs are not met.
Our fundamental core values are to cook with love, manage our origination with love and appreciation of all our team members, and that our aid is delivered to people with love and confidentiality".
